It was great talking to someone in an unbiased position. By talking to you and working towards goals I regained my focus and tackled the problem clearly and honestly, rather than just allowing the situation to take over, sitting back as a spectator accepting the situation even though it wasn't rewarding, challenging or purposeful.
I believe if I hadn't have discussed the situation with you I would have looked at other options including long term sick or employment elsewhere. CG
I found the sessions with Dee, very useful and productive not only for my working career, but also helped me in my private life - looking from a holistic perspective, empowering the whole of me to move forward. This was undertaken in a very safe and respectful environment by Dee.
Dee facilitated a change in my perspective over work. Helping me to move from a career where I felt 'stuck' until I retired, to a innovative and creative role, where I now feel alive and all within the same trust. CR
The coaching sessions highlighted areas that I was already aware of but needed guidance and direction. The tasks set at the end of each session really encouraged me to address the pattern I had previously adopted, and helped me to ‘break the mould’. I hadn’t appreciated and respected what a positive individual I am capable of being and that to be that person is SIMPLE. I really believe in myself in a personal and professional capacity, I already did, I just didn’t realise it. JH

"Is there anything in this or will it be a self-indulgent waste of money?" That was the question on my mind before I rang up Dee. What could a life coach tell me? Wasn't it all a load of mumbo-jumbo better left for the Americans. After a quick chat with Dee I realised that it might be worth investigating. Whereas therapists look back, life coaches look forward. I liked the sound of that.
"Think of it as a way to unscramble the spaghetti in your head," she said.
Well, my head was like the spaghetti Bolognese my two-year old leaves behind - all over the place. So I booked. Life coaching is actually a very practical way of looking at your goals and ambitions and working out how to achieve them. Being self-employed, it's easy to lose focus. Seeing Dee was like seeing a careers advisor cum personal motivator. And very rewarding. She has helped me to get out of the passenger seat and into the driving seat of my life! I wouldn't say I'm a millionaire just yet, but there have definitely been tangible results - and I'll continue to see her. TC, Exeter
"Dee was extremely helpful in terms of her coaching ability in recent weeks. This is particularly so as my health service organisation is about to undergo a major restructuring! The coaching sessions helped me focus on my current position, my future desires – workwise and what I need to do to get there. The sessions were also helpful in terms of thinking about my career, my priorities in life generally and about how not to get worked up over change! My thanks to Dee as a person – her personality and skills make her what I believe is a natural!"

"Dee was friendly and approachable but at all times professional and helped me to attain my goals. I felt that I de-cluttered my life and now have routines in place that enable me to achieve a balance between work and home and leisure. I have more time for myself."

"I found all the sessions very useful. Once we had discussed various themes, we agreed on a goal and Dee was very good at questioning in order to explore the possibilities and ideas to get me thinking outside ‘the box’. Through this method I often (of my own accord) had moments/realisations that I hadn’t considered before. This enabled me to find my own solutions to situations and it also made me very pro-active and spurred me on to find further solutions. I thought it was a positive way to get results as the coach somehow got me to do all the work! All in all, I was extremely pleased with every session and wouldn’t hesitate in receiving coaching again. Thanks very much!" EB
"I attended 6 sessions, during which time I was enabled to take time to look at myself in a more positive way. I had always been the one who was there for everyone else, and it had been difficult for me to think about what I wanted without feeling selfish. Dee helped me to think about this in a different way (without going beyond the boundaries of who I really am), and to see that I was important too. I was able to go away after each session with new tasks to do and this encouraged me to stretch myself al little further each time. I am extremely grateful to Dee, she is a great listener, and has the temperament and personality to put anyone at ease."

Thank you for the coaching that you have done - you may not feel we did very much but I can assure you it has contributed significantly to my recovery. CC
